The added bonus seemed to be that the Live Services trial was started again and it has even updated the maps and cameras. It seemed to take ages but eventually after several restarts it was all back. I did this with the car device off and when I switched it on it started about 15 minutes of updates for various parts of the system and warned me not to use the Start/Stop button on the car or switch the system off. Once it finished it said to take it out of the computer and put it back in the car. (One problem is that it only supports one device so I had to change my log in to the new device.)Īfter a back up it wrote several new updates including a new ROM to flash the hardware in the car.

However it also said an update was available for Home, so I ran the Home update and after it restarted the app it again recognised the SD card as a device and suggested an update for it.
